Pay Plan
We have been told that the legislation for the pay plan proposal will be ready for drafting as soon as the reclassification of positions and job description updates are complete. At this time we do not know if that means next week or the end of this month. Once we get a copy of the pay plan legislation we will share with our membership and provide analysis.
We are also being told that there could be an opportunity for a public forum to answer your questions and provide feedback. At this time we have no further details.

Retirement Plan and Health Insurance Legislation
We are tracking approximately 15 bills related to your retirement system and health insurance plan. Most of these are what we call "shell" bills that contain no language. We are monitoring these and other bills for movement and will alert you if necessary. None of the bills we are currently tracking have a negative impact on your retirement plan or health insurance.
ASEA Scholarships
We received a record number of scholarship applications - 134 this year versus last year's 52! Please allow the selection committee some extra time for the review process.
