SEAPAC is looking for volunteers to become Regional Directors. A Regional Director will serve as a contact person for SEAPAC in order to let the president and home office know what's happening in his or her district regarding state races for the Senate and House of Representatives.
Those elected are the very people who will be voting on such state employee issues as pay and benefits, so it's extremely important to stay current on what candidates have to say about state employees and what happens in state government.
Ideally there should be a Regional Director in every county and, in some of the larger counties, there should be more than one. Leading up to the fall SEAPAC meeting in each election year, these Regional Directors will help facilitate the "Know Your Candidates" questionnaire to the candidates and communicate their thoughts with the home office which candidates best reflect the interests of state employees.
